I have been painting since I was a young girl. I found the love of painting with my mother June Surber who painted when I was a child. She would allow me to actually paint on her canvas. I was hooked ever since.

She was and still remains a wonderful influence for my work.

Throughout my career as an Art Consultant and as an Interior Consultant, I have gained a valuable respect and knowledge of what my clients are looking for in their art environment. I am able through their interpretation to create masterpieces that will forever bring together their love of subject matter and color usage. It brings me great pleasure to create pieces for a home and/or environment that brings warmth and creativity to the area.

Through my many years of traveling both in the United States and through Europe, I am able to bring together my memories of colors and textures to help bring my landscapes alive. This is one of the primary reasons I love heavy texture.

I enjoy the playfulness of an abstract. The non-formality of it all is endearing. If you look long enough you might just be able to figure it out...
